My aim as a counsellor is to provide a warm, confidential relationship in which we can work together to explore whatever is most important to you. You might have a very clear idea of what you want to change, or just a vague feeling that something isn’t quite right. Either way, I will support you without judgement, focussing on whatever you need to help untangle your thoughts and feelings.

Simply put, my job is to try to help you gain an understanding of how you see and experience the world. Hopefully you can then make choices that are right for you. Often these choices can revolve around finding purpose in a changing world, finding inner confidence or simply feeling more at ease with yourself. It isn’t about changing you or ‘fixing’ you; I will give you the space and time to figure out for yourself what you need.

I am happy to work with any presenting issue, and my particular areas of interest are loss (in all its forms), low self esteem and shame. I work with bereaved clients for Marie Curie and Cruse Bereavement Care
